Als je ‘North Atlantic Oscillation’ intikt bij Google, levert dat vooral veel informatie op over een klimatologisch fenomeen. Ook heel interessant, maar wij zijn meer geinteresseerd in de band. ‘NAO’ balanceert tussen de triphop psychedelica van the Beta Band, Fuck Buttons en the Flaming Lips. Luide gitaren, dromerige harmonieuze synthpartijen, zware drums en vooral veel vervreemdende elektronische effecten vormen een prachtig geheel.
