Shary-An brak door met haar deelname aan de eerste editie van The Voice of Holland waar ze de halve finale bereikte. Dat ze geen eendagsvlieg is blijkt uit het feit dat ze nu meerdere albums op haar naam heeft staan en hits scoorde met singles als "Mr. Know It All" en "Read My Book".
