Vidura Bandara Rajapaksa is a Sri Lankan comedian, writer, and director whose sharp wit and unmistakable deadpan delivery have earned him a devoted international following. He has written and directed all three of his acclaimed comedy specials: Monsoon Season (2022), French Kiss Tunnel (2024), and his latest release, Woodapple Jam (2024).
Vidura’s calm, steady presence onstage puts audiences instantly at ease – which is impressive, considering he then proceeds to dismantle their assumptions one understated punchline at a time. His comedy is irreverent, sometimes unexpectedly moving, and always hysterical.
